20th June 2017:

The cottage was very clean and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. Elaine and her family were very friendly and knowledgeable of places to visit both in the immediate vicinity and slightly further afield.

Tips:

The Rising Sun pub about 20 minute walk away was very friendly, good food and generous portions. Beautiful walks both directly from the cottage and also a short drive away. Symonds Yat is well worth a visit and we would certainly recommend canoeing down the River Wye from Symonds Yat East. Taurus crafts were just down the road and had a wide choice of interesting things from food to clothes.

27th May 2016:

This was an immaculately clean, well equipped cottage. We had a warm welcome from the owners and some yummy home-made Welsh cakes with local butter waiting for us. It was easy to keep the cottage warm and there was the added bonus of a birdfeeder just outside the kitchen window and it was fascinating to watch the birds

Tips:

Don't miss Nags Head RSPB reserve. It has a wonderful array of wildlife and in the spring is nearly completely covered in bluebells.
